Tricycle
One of the transport that is unique in the Philippines is the tricycle. Unlike the Philippine jeepney, they are prohibited to travel in the main road so they main transport in towns and villages.

It looks like a motorcycle extended so people maybe able to sit on it. Some of these tricycles are not tailored for comfort. I couldn’t count the number of bumps in my head upon riding this vehicle. The most uncomfortable seat is behind the driver. Some roofs are not raised high so you’ll have to stoop low for the entire ride. It’s much worst during rainy days. I have nothing against this ride but i wish they should established a guidelines or standards in tricycle construction.

this is so cool. the maximum capacity should have been 5-6 person but you will be amazed how 10 or more person would fit unto it.
you will most likely to see this in provinces to rural place in particular. since rides there is very few and destination is far (place), drivers will maximized to extend to fit everyone.
youll never see something like this.
there are some tricycle’s drivers who put a plywood infront of the driver’s seat so he can accommodate more customers.
some drivers counts his customers on fix head. well bear in mind, thats regardless of sizes.
there are even naughty drivers who customized there tricycles to a point that youll be sitting like you were laying.
these is true. whether intentional or not, there are drivers who thus take advantage of it.
