MTA Provides swimming pools in New York Subways
Yes, that’s right. The MTA, as a way of paying us back for “supporting” another rate hike, has decided to show it appreciation by providing it’s riders with personal swimming pools in each seat.
With all the rains today i had a chance to take the subway and try one out.
They are even heated to room temperature.
Lets all send a thank you to MTA chairman Peter Kalikow for these new “Features”.
I look forward to what new they have to give us next.

That’s awful! And, gross.
Paying an increase in transportation pricing and receives such service. This is really awful.
Hey, what a great resource for all commuters!
Thanks.

Yeah, it’s friggin’ gross. I’m disgusting cause when I come home, I don’t change out of my pants, I’ll just sit anywhere everywhere. My bed is probably really gross. I’m gross, ugh…
Did you sit down by accident? I do not think I would plop my rear in a seat that had that much water in it. I would probably stand and be steaming mad that I couldn’t sit after a long day of work.
Have you heard if they are going to be removing these amenities in the future as to accomadate non-swimmers on the commute?
Knowing the MTA, they probably won’t be removing these amenities anytime soon. Especially since the change of season is right around the corner. Actually, I have seen people taking dips in the pool. How disgusting!!!! I guess after a long and hard days work, they figure what the hell. Not me, I’d rather stand the entire 45 minutes until I reach my stop, with heels on.

haha, that’s hilarious
. Screw buying a pool when I can just use the subways!
you have the pool now, the next one coming out would be a fountain or waterfall.. Lol!
well, actually come to think of it, it is still ok, you wouldn’t want a pool on the rail that stops the whole service and get u all stranded in the train until they clear it off.
