There are scattered ten minute delays on trains between Huntington and Port Jefferson due to a track condition east of Northport.

The 10:38 PM train from Montauk, scheduled to arrive in Jamaica at 1:44 AM, is operating approximately 20 minutes late because of slippery rail conditions. We have been using special equipment to minimize inconvenience, which is caused by fallen leaves on the tracks. Nov-20-2008 01:02:18AM

The 4:51 PM train from Penn Station due in Ronkonkoma at 6:04 PM is on the move running 51 minutes late due to equipment problems. The train will be canceled at Hicksville where passengers will be accommodated by an awaiting train.

LIRR is experiencing 15 to 20 minute delays in its eastbound service, east of Jamaica on its Ronkonkoma, Oyster Bay, Huntington/Port Jefferson and Hempstead Branches due to a train experiencing equipment problems at Merillon Avenue Station.
