Walk my way home
I could never forget when I was in first year high school when I had to walked home because of a storm. No announcements were made regarding the storm in the morning so classes weren’t suspended. The storm was just for a brief moment but it hit so hard that it flooded some of the roads.
It was during lunchtime when rain started to pour hard. Our student council president asked our principal to let the students home. The principal initially refused but allowed us to go home at around 2 pm because the rain won’t just stop. Because it is not yet our dismissal time, our school service isn’t there yet. So together with my classmate, we decided to just commute home.
We rode a jeepney but then for just a while, we were stranded. The vehicles does not move at all. We’ve see people starting to walk so my classmate and I decided to walk as well. Fortunately, the rain has stopped pouring. But the rain has flooded the whole express way and a mini pond was formed in the middle of the road and vehicles couldn’t go through.
It was about three feet of flood. There’s no way we could go home if we won’t cross the flood. Fortunately, a bus has just been repaired and it was willing the cross the flood. We were so lucky. So we rode the bus up to our home.
Our school service also arrived in our school and they had come home at around 12 midnight because of the traffic.

I have no idea. Maybe, it must be a torture for them stucked in the car and can’t do anything. The good thing about this, citizens that live nearby are trying their best to help the others
