Tips for a better train/bus ride…

1. Travel with your ipod or a book (something to keep you occupied). Please do not stare in my face or attempt to see what I’m doing on my ipod. Its bad manners! Also, for those of you who like to yap loudly on your cell phone—please I’m begging you—turn them off. We don’t need to listen to a one sided conversation about how your day went. As I said earlier, bring a book! Try reading and maybe you’d have something more interesting to talk about.
2. If the train or bus is crowed, please do not bring any open beverages on. It makes for a messy commute if there were to be any sudden stops. And it would really suck having to go to work with coffee stains on a Monday morning.
3. When reading a newspaper, especially if the train or bus is crowed—do not open it fully where the edge of the paper is in the person standing next to you eyeball!! For gods sake people!
4. If the train door opens to my stop and Joe and Jim are leaning against the doors blocking the passage way—don’t expect me not to push you out the way after I say “excuse me”. And don’t expect me to sorry!
5. SMILE, enjoy your day people!

I am so glad someone agrees with me!!! Every point you have made, I have one time or another complained about it. I HATE when people feel they need to share their entire phone conversation with the whole traincar. And I’m not on the train to make friends! LOL!!

And while you’re at it, please attend to your ringing phone quickly. We don’t care for your favorite song playing over and over again.
Especially when it is a common ring tone. That really get on people’s nerves.

I dislike the ‘blocking my way out’ and drinking in the bus/train the most… grrrr…
