As we all know, today is the day after Xmas and as with any holiday the day after is usually smooth sailing.
No one shoving you in the train because you’re not walking fast enough, no one to tell you this is the walking side on the escalator. I was able to get a seat on the subway and have room between the person sitting next to me. I didn’t have to worry about the person next to me sitting on my coat or in my lap. I actually had a smile on my face this morning (which is not very common).
It was just smooth sailing. There were no delays, just everyone minding their business. Some were probably just daydreaming about Xmas day and others wishing they took the day off to recuperate.
Lets see if I’ll be singing the same tune when I leave work!
